TEHRAN – President Hassan Rouhani on Tuesday called for broadening of cooperation between Iran and Germany in order to find a peaceful solution to the regional crises and uprooting terrorism.

In a message to his German counterpart, Rouhani congratulated the German president and people on the occasion of the Day of German Unity, and expressed the hope for more cooperation between the two countries.

The Day of German Unity is the national day of Germany, celebrated on October 3 as a public holiday. It commemorates the anniversary of German reunification in 1990.
